Dr. Shaun D. Parson is a Mayo-trained board-certified plastic surgeon in private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona.  He is a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), as well as the American College of Surgeons.  Dr. Parson received his undergraduate degree at the University of Utah, attended George Washington University Medical School and completed his plastic surgery fellowship training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.  Dr. Parson has served roles as Clinical Instructor of Plastic Surgery for The Mayo Clinic as well as Associate Professor of Surgery for the University of Arizona. 

As the former Chairman of Plastic Surgery and Chief of Surgery at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea Hospital, Dr. Parson has been voted numerous times by his peers as one of the Top Docs in both Phoenix Magazine and Arizona Foothills Magazine.  On a national level, Dr. Parson has been chosen to appear in The Guide to America’s Top Plastic Surgeons as well as The Guide to America’s Top Surgeons. He serves on the instructional committee for the Ossler Review Course for plastic surgeons taking their board certification tests. In addition, Dr. Parson also acts as a case review specialist for the Arizona Board of Medicine.

Specializing in aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body, Dr. Parson personally works with each one of his patients using the state-of-the-art TouchMD system.  Dr. Parson believes that fostering communication between him and the patient is one of the most important aspects of his practice and he emphasizes this with his staff as well.  His dedication to giving each patient personalized one-on-one attention, addressing goals and expectations, and delivering beautiful, natural-looking results is what makes him one of the most recognized and sought-after plastic surgeons in the Southwest.
